APAC Finance Manager - GSS

The APAC Finance Manager – GSS, will be a key finance business partner supporting the APAC business strategy, delivery of financial commitments and forecasting. Reporting to the GSS Finance Director, this person will help lead the business analytics – product launch analysis, rebate management, pricing, planning / forecasting, risk and opportunities etc.  This person will provide key inputs to assist in the global consolidation efforts.  This role needs to work well with all functions, including sales and marketing, to drive better business decisions. 




  • Lead the monthly forecasting process, including direct coordination with Sales, Marketing, Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Manufacturing Finance and Accounting.
  • Lead the consolidation efforts to include reporting on Australia, New Zealand, Japan & India
  • Manage foreign exchange exposure across APAC countries, and financial reporting in reporting currency as well as in constant currency
  • Track macroeconomic indicators across geographical regions in APAC to keep business leaders informed on significant KPIs impacting business results
  • Support Project Cricket standalone / carve-out activities to include ERP design and implementation.
  • Gather data from operational and financial sources and transform that data into useful information.
  • Understand and analyze go-to-market strategy financial impacts, including pricing and rebates.
  • Solid working knowledge on rebate accruals, payments and setting up rebate agreements in a financial system
  • Understand the price, volume and mix drivers in actuals and forecast; drive the right conversation and decisions with the business team through these insights to maximize results impact.
  • Collaborate with Regulatory and Development leaders to offer analytical support for innovation projects to the project managers while supporting long-term profitable growth objectives.
  • Serve as a resource to cost center owners seeking understanding and guidance on SAR expense trends to make decisions.
  • Support Working Capital analysis, particularly focused on Accounts Receivables, inventory and other significant financial liabilities that impact cash delivery.
  • Support company secretarial matters and governmental/ regulatory lodgments
  • Monitor general market / business / competitive trends.
  • Ensure compliance and safety in all aspects of work.
  • Assist in ad hoc projects as needed.

  • Good understanding of business strategy and P&L/ cash - strengths, weaknesses, risks and opportunity areas.
  • Successful results delivery through proactive management of P&L and cash risks and opportunities.
  • Strong financial and business analytical skills demonstrated through facilitating sound decision making on innovation launches, pricing and rebate change decisions, evaluation of business risks/ opportunities etc.
  • Leverage systems, process excellence, COE and NA Business Forecasting Tool as intended.
  • Strong sense of urgency, time, project management and communication skills.
  • Continuous improvement mindset; ensure strong compliance and controls.


Required Experience:


  • 5+ years of business finance experience ideally supporting sales and marketing, including FP&A.
  • Demonstrated skill in applied financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and internal financial reporting.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing company is preferred.
  • Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a complex global organization.
  • Knowledge of GAAP required.
  • Knowledge and effective use of financial systems (SAP, AFO/ BW, Microsoft Dyanmics) are preferred.
  • Resourceful and proactive in seeing projects through completion.




  • CPA/ MBA preferred, BA/BS in finance or equivalent experience.
