Function Overview:

 

As the Integrated Operations Specialist ANZ, GSS your role focuses on supporting the Australia & New Zealand GSS businesses in the integrated supply chain from demand planning, order management, third party production scheduling, and fulfillment.  This position is a key member of the GSS ANZ Leadership Team and will work closely with the General Manager GSS APAC to ensure continuity of supply and service to customers in ANZ.  This position reports to the Integrated Operations Manager, GSS and is supported by an Integrated Operations team with global orientation.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

To support the business, GSS is looking for a “strategic doer” who can operate with country leadership, third party partners, and also transact within our ERP system.

 

 

Strategic

  • Work with country leadership to understand key requirements of the Integrated Operations team to support Australia & New Zealand and implement those requirements across the third-party network of suppliers and partners.
  • Work with local and global marketing to prepare for and launch new products into the Australia and New Zealand markets
  • Interface with global Integrated Operations team to ensure supply for Australia & New Zealand is effectively managed
  • Work with third party manufacturers, warehouses, and suppliers to ensure business continuity and service to the customer

 

 

Transactional

  • Oversee customer orders in Microsoft D365, including order entry, order status, document creation, stock allocation, order release, shipment tracking, sales recognition and document management.
  • Regularly update customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders on order status and any issues.
  • Handle customer inquiries, process returns, and resolve customer issues promptly.
  • Work with third party warehouses to ensure shipment of customer orders
  • Support local demand planning efforts in conjunction with global demand planning team
  • Support local master scheduling efforts in conjunction with global master scheduling team
  • Support local procurement efforts in conjunction with global procurement team

 

Required Education:

  •  Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Management or other related degree preferred

 

 

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations with preference in the chemicals industry
  • High customer centricity
  • Strong business acumen
  • Ability to partner with third parties to effectively conduct business
  • Demonstrated aptitude for problem solving and ability to determine solutions
  • Detail oriented, results focused and a self-starter with strong follow up skills  
  • Action oriented and drive for results
