FMC is looking for a Finance Manager, Global Procurement to support the Finance function’s partnership with Global Procurement.  The role will support the Vice President of Procurement, Logistics, & Facilities and will work closely with key members of Global Procurement, Operations, Manufacturing Finance, Corporate Accounting, and other stakeholders.  The role is responsible for leading and developing a Sr. Financial Analyst.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Global Procurement leadership team to help the organization define and deliver on the organization’s financial objectives
• Maintain overall responsibility for the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting of raw materials globally while applying analytical knowledge of business and market conditions to challenge the appropriateness of pricing submissions
• Maintain overall responsibility for the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting of stakeholder cost centers for Global Procurement and Facilities while being continuously connected to cost center owners to understand changes in business operations
• Lead the annual budgeting and monthly reporting of the global disbursement and accounts payable forecast
• Provide problem-solving support to stakeholders in areas such as invoice processing, monthly accruals, budgetary decisions, etc.
• Leverage information available through SAP, BW, and other reporting platforms to provide real-time analytical and decision-making support to the Global Procurement and Facilities teams
• Manage a Sr. Financial Analyst responsible for supporting the same Global Procurement FP&A processes
• Routine interaction with the other finance specific functions of the organization to ensure procurement-related initiatives are properly incorporated into business planning and financial results
• Support effective continuous improvement initiatives within the function and throughout the organization

Required Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience within Finance, Accounting or related disciplines
• SAP experience strongly preferred
• People management experience preferred, but not required
• Candidate needs to work well in a team environment
• Advanced computer skills, especially proficient in Excel
• Strong data analysis capabilities
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Able to handle varying and dynamic workloads while maintaining project prioritization
• Conscious to ask questions to understand key concepts
• Should be flexible and adaptable to changing environments
• Flexibility to working extended hours during peak reporting periods
• Ability to travel both domestic and/or international up to 10%
