FMC is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to support the Finance function’s partnership with Global Procurement and a recently created Global Logistics organization.  The successful candidate will have the ability to manage complex topics, work independently, and be adaptable to changing environments.

The Senior Financial Analyst will report to the Finance Manager of Global Procurement & Logistics and will work closely with the Director of Global Logistics.  This role will also interact with key members of Global Procurement, Global Logistics, Global Supply Chain, Operations Finance, Corporate Accounting, and other stakeholders.



  • Develop / prepare monthly management reporting and KPIs for the key areas of spend in the Global Logistics organization (e.g., transportation, freight, duty, warehousing, accessorial, per diem, storage, & fleet/equipment costs)
  • Map end-to-end Logistics costs in a logical and reportable format, within SAP 4HANA guidelines (SAP TMS functionality to be explored)
  • Work with the Logistics Category Management team to prepare the annual budget and monthly forecasts for these same areas while applying analytical knowledge of business and market conditions to challenge the appropriateness of the projections and provide insight on month-end variances
  • Develop the annual budget and monthly forecast of stakeholder cost centers while being continuously connected to cost center owners to understand changes in business operations
  • Work closely with Operations Finance to ensure logistics costs are accurately reflected in standard costs
  • Leverage information available through SAP, monthly forecasting, and other reporting platforms to provide real-time analytical and decision-making support to the Global Logistics organization
  • Provide problem-solving support to stakeholders in areas such as invoice processing, monthly accruals, budgetary decisions, etc.
  • Interact routinely with the other finance-specific functions of the organization to ensure logistics-related initiatives are properly incorporated into business planning and financial results
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for processes performed on a routine basis
  • Support effective continuous improvement initiatives within the function and throughout the organization with the ongoing governance and continuous improvement of SAP S/4 HANA.

Required Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting


  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience within Finance, Accounting, or related disciplines
  • Experience as a finance business partner, preferably within the logistics, supply chain, or operations areas of an organization
  • SAP experience strongly preferred (S/4 HANA and/or SAP TMS)
  • Proficiency in Excel and data modeling / analysis
  • Experience presenting the key messages derived from complex data sets
