Operations FP&A Global Consolidation Analyst 

 

External Overview:  

The Operations FP&A Global Consolidation Analyst is responsible for providing process guidance to the OFP&A Regional and AI leads across the globe within the areas of management reporting, reforecast and budget coordination, working capital packages and ad hoc analysis. Aside from the preparation of periodic management reporting packages, this role will introduce rigor around month end consolidated reviews and drive an improved forecasting disciplined process.  Utilizing a strong accounting background this position will ensure a consolidated review of results and a data driven approach to forecasting is pursued leading to greater accuracy in results. A key skillset will be to influence senior OFPA and Operations managers as this role is both a driver of process discipline but moreso, an agent of process change and improvement. This position will report directly to the Global Operations FP&A Director. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for coordination and consolidation of the following monthly reporting packages: 
  • Variance reports to be reviewed with Operations directors of AI and F&P plants 
  • Reforecast for GSC EBIT & Working capital  
  • SGA Expense reviews with Corporate, Supply Chain and Technical Global Directors 

 

  • Responsible for designing and performing month end consolidated reviews of Operations financial performance 
  • Responsible for designing and driving improved monthly forecasting packages including dashboard capability 
  • Lead coordinator for the OFPA Budget Cycle ensuring adherence to agreed reporting & timelines 
  • Responsible for the calculation of the allocation process within the Annual Budget Cycle 
  • Coordinate closely with the Controller’s organization to ensure accounting guidance/policy is followed consistently in the organization 
  • Perform and lead projects as required  
  • Provide critical super-user guidance in the focused area of reports and analytics tools within SAP 
  • Drive improvement in the area of Reports and Analytics working closely with the BPM team 

 

Education:

  • BA / BS in Finance/Accounting preferred 

 

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of overall finance experience 
  • 2+ years of manufacturing finance experience 
  • Proficient in Microsoft products  
  • ERP experience is essential with SAP exposure highly favorable

  • Proficient in English language both written and oral 
  • Demonstrated ability to present information and influence decision makers 
  • Detail minded with strong discipline around deadlines with proven ability to keep geographically dispersed team on schedule 
  • Ability to handle large data sets 
  • Organized and generally has a disciplined approach to work 
  • Results oriented; promotes continuous improvement and modernization 
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities 
  • Availability to work with multiple time zones each month
