The Realization Management Lead works closely with the Director of Enterprise Governance and Continuous Improvement for overall strategic and operational management of governance and continuous improvement initiatives related to the SAP S/4 landscape. The Lead works closely with their direct and indirect reports to define and manage strategic, operational, and tactical execution in the areas of project delivery.

The Realization Management Lead is expected to operate with intentional focus to drive actions that result in integration across processes, systems, functions, regions, and projects to ensure delivery of new and improved capabilities demonstrating value to FMC while mitigating disruption of business activities through effective risk management



  • Lead the Project Management and Project Delivery Workstreams (Data Migration, Test & Defect Management, Deployment, Business Readiness) in the Realization Management Team
  • Drive the development of strategic, operational, and tactical management and execution of portfolio management for SAP S/4 projects and subsequent project execution, including the annual budget processes for project assessments
  • Accountable for cross-functional coordination outside of EGCI, particularly with the functional COE Directors on the Governance Council, Corporate IT, and within EGCI to assess and manage the integration aspects of projects from business case development, value case assessment through activation, execution and delivery
  • Accountable for governance and accuracy of status and metrics as relates to projects delivered by the Enterprise Governance and Continuous Improvement organization
  • Accountable for the overall management and execution of project stage gate processes, including definition and governance of entrance and exit criteria
  • Responsible for overall risk management with the Director of EGCI for all projects executed to maximize successful delivery of projects while minimizing disruption to business activities
  • Responsible for leadership and development of the Realization Management organization
  • Accountable for delivery with adherence to global design of process and solution
  • Adherence to FMC project governance and audit controls



  • Functional / Technical Skills:
    • Strong understanding of Portfolio Management concepts and governance, including business case development, value case assessment, risk management, data migration, testing and defect management, deployment and hypercare, business readiness and change management
    • Experience with risk and metric based management of project delivery
    • S/4 HANA and change management experience a plus
  • Soft Skills:
    • Ability to communicate complex topics to diverse audiences
    • Ability to influence sound decision making
    • Can drive change and tactfully resolve situations of conflict
    • Ability to adjust and lead others through rapidly changing environments and priorities
    • Operate with speed and intensity; accelerate the pace of delivery
