SAP BW/4HANA Developer

FMC Corporation is a leading global agricultural sciences company dedicated to delivering innovative and sustainable crop protection solutions. We are seeking a motivated team member to join our Reporting & Analytics team, focusing on SAP-BW4HANA and related technologies.

We are looking for a SAP BW/4HANA Developer to lead, implement, and support Reporting & Analytics solutions, primarily centered around SAP-BW4HANA. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of BW4HANA functionality, as well as Fiori, AFO, and SAP Analytics Cloud. Experience with ABAP development, including CDS, is also desired.

Key Responsibilities:

• Solution Design & Implementation: Collaborate with business leadership to design, build, and deliver world-class Reporting & Analytics solutions.
• Independent Work: Operate independently, instilling confidence in business stakeholders to achieve successful business transformation.
• Requirement Analysis: Work with business leadership to understand and document requirements, define functional and technical solutions, and recommend optimal solutions.
• Development & Testing: Develop Busines Warehouse data models, deliver reports in Fiori, AFO, and SAC, and handle technical aspects including ABAP and CDS. Assist in testing and user acceptance.
• Continuous Improvement: Demonstrate continuous improvement post-implementation to enhance business performance.
• Mentorship: Mentor other R&A team members and IT resources to develop their understanding of R&A solutions and technologies.

Major Responsibility Areas:

• Process Analysis & Design: Accountable for complex R&A systems process analysis, design, and simulation, focusing on process improvement and re-engineering opportunities.
• Project Management: Manage small to mid-size projects, overseeing the entire project lifecycle, including planning, resource coordination, and meeting project objectives.
• Configuration & Technical Work: Perform configuration and build necessary Business Warehouse/SAC objects to meet project objectives.
• Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve potential issues that may impede business requirements.
• Technical Resource: Act as a technical resource for the team, assisting with OSS note application, function module development, and technical issue resolution.
• Consultant Collaboration: Work closely with consultants to ensure successful project implementation.
• Expert Advice: Provide expert advice to Business and IT project teams for R&A systems and processes.
• Reporting Requirements: Map new reporting requirements to appropriate SAP systems and work with end users on potential enhancements.
• Solution Improvement: Identify R&A solution improvement opportunities and build business cases to encourage implementation.

Qualifications:

Required Education: BS. Degree, preferably in a technical discipline (Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics), and/or equivalent years of business experience.

• 8+ years of Business Intelligence design and implementation experience (at least five years with SAP-BW)
• 5+ years’ experience of SAP BW4HANA
• 2-3 years’ experience of Fiori, AFO and SAP Analytics Cloud
• 6+ years’ experience with project delivery
