Position Overview

 

FMC Corporation has an opening for a Senior Analyst, Operational Transfer Pricing to help drive global transfer pricing execution, and reporting management. In this role the Senior Analyst will be a member of FMC’s global transfer pricing group and work on all aspects of operational transfer pricing. The ideal candidate must be comfortable partnering throughout the organization to develop and promote the setting, monitoring, and adjusting of transfer prices. Accordingly, the Senior Analyst will directly liaise with regional finance professionals to provide transfer pricing guidance on intercompany transactions and collaborate effectively with applicable key stakeholders. 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Support the forecasting and budgeting process of FMC Corporation on a legal entity basis. Review and analyze P&L forecasts from all global subsidiaries focusing on intercompany transactions and alignment with the arm’s length
  • Comfortable working with large volume of data. Adept in Data Analytics in Excel.
  • Liaise with local financial leads from FMC’s global subsidiaries and develop a strong understanding and knowledge of local market economic conditions and resulting implications for transfer prices. Provide support to local controllers for transfer pricing queries. 
  • Monitor financial performance; explain variances (budgets, forecasts, prior year, and long-range plans). Prepare and present consolidated reports to leadership, as appropriate. Understand root causes of conflicts, business areas, and global functions to institutionalize improvements on forecasting.
  • Improve and maintain efficient legal entity forecasting and transfer pricing processes across FMC, recommend process improvements, and identify opportunities for efficiency. 
  • Execute the monthly and quarterly transfer price setting, monitoring, adjusting.  Execute and maintain relevant governance processes. 

 

Required Education


Bachelor’s degree in Finance, MBA preferred
 
Qualifications

 

  • Minimum of 2- 6 years relevant experience in a finance preferably in a manufacturing organization or global multinational corporation 
  • ERP system and Business knowledge a plus.
  • Proven experience in Accounting, financial planning and analysis experience nice to have.
  • Broad capabilities using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word.
  • Self-starter who is results and improvement oriented. Ability to take initiative, work independently and as a member of a team, and provide readouts at certain milestone events.
  • Communication and project management capabilities with the ability to effectively navigate through a large matrixed organization a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills, documentation and tracking for audit and compliance purposes. Must be detail oriented, can prioritize and multi-task with minimal guidance, and can work in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to see broad-based changes in the organization as an opportunity.
