Senior Plant Cost Accountant

 

Responsibilities:

· Report directly to the Global Cost Controlling Manager

· Serve as a key point of contact for Regional Operations Finance (OF) Centers of Excellence (CoEs) and Operations Finance Active Ingredients (AI) analysts

· Validate standard costs in SAP

· Participate in the annual budgeting process

· Attend monthly site review meetings with OF and plant personnel

· Perform quality control on master data

· Manage relationships with business partners and personnel across manufacturing plants to support system investigation / drill down

· Participate in the global month end closing process.

· Ability to travel to manufacturing locations (as needed)

Required Education:

· BA / BS in Accounting / Finance (or local equivalent) required

· CPA, CMA, MBA or local equivalent preferred

Qualifications:

· 5+ years of experience in cost or inventory accounting required in a manufacturing or operations environment

· Demonstrated experience in managing/supervising a team of professionals

· Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite

· Strong and demonstrated knowledge of SAP with experience in COPA

· General knowledge / understanding of manufacturing, supply chain, and operations required

· Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with multiple business partners globally

-Strong understanding of financial information

-Creativity and problem-solving capabilities to structure robust visualizations

-Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
