Business/Function Overview:

This position supports the North America Tolling Group in Philadelphia and will be responsible for organizing, managing, and executing formulation and packaging of agricultural chemicals with third party manufacturers. The individual will have the following responsibilities: arrange production schedules, control raw material and component ordering, and manage the day-to-day relationship with the third party partners. This role will work closely with internal planning teams to develop production schedules and forecasts, logistics team to manage goods movement, engineering teams to manage quality and technical issues, and procurement teams to manage pricing, invoicing, and contracts with third party manufacturers.   

 

Responsibilities:

•    Accountable for products made at assigned third party manufacturers including managing forecasts, orders, deliveries, inventory and production schedules, and prioritization of key productions and upsides
•    Act as primary contact to assigned third party manufacturers to manage any issues
•    Responsible for material planning for all components/raw materials, including creation/management/goods receipt of purchase orders, creation/management/goods receipt of stock transport orders, and management of delivery schedules with suppliers and tollers; manage inventory at toller through regular inventory reconciliation/cycle counts
•    Coordinate with Master Schedulers and Supply Planners to create purchase orders, responsible for detailed scheduling and long-range forecasting in coordination with third party manufacturer
•    Responsible for purchase and production orders at tollers, including maintenance of orders and posting of productions in SAP based on production reports from third party manufacturer
•    Responsible for indirect spending at tollers, issuing relevant purchase orders and managing costs to budget. Compute & explain manufacturing variances (purchase price, material usage, volume variance, variable spend, fixed cost)
•    Responsible for transactional compliance of all orders in SAP
•    Responsible for master data at relevant SAP plants

 

Required Education: 
•    Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain / Operations or related field
•    CSCP / CIM qualification preferred

 

Qualifications: 
•    SAP Systems skills, especially related to business systems
•    Excel skills especially use of pivot tables, look ups, arrays, graphs, Macros
•    Minimum five years’ experience in manufacturing operations required with pharmaceutical, specialty chemical or food additive plant experience highly preferred;
•    Demonstrated ability work in a team environment, effectively interface with other operating departments, meet and demand performance required to meet and exceed assigned responsibilities.
•    Must demonstrate an attitude of respect and professional interaction with others.
•    Ability to handle large amount of data in an organized manner, with high accuracy, perform analysis and deliver results in a timely manner
