Travel & Expenses Analyst

Role Overview: 

 

The Travel & Expense Analyst will report to the Global Travel & Expense Process Owner (GPO) based in Philadelphia, PA and will play a critical role in the development of a centralized global travel and expense program.  This role will provide subject matter expertise in the development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of standardized T&E policies, processes, and technology that will improve overall efficiency and effectiveness of the current decentralized program, as well as reduce liabilities and costs for FMC.  The T&E Analyst will work closely with global stakeholders in multiple functions including Finance, Procurement, IT, Human Resources, and Risk & Compliance.  We are looking for a self-starter and problem-solver who is eager to help drive our T&E optimization efforts forward. 

 

Key Role Responsibilities: 

  • Support the GPO with the roll-out of global T&E policy, process, and technology standardization and implementation efforts  

  • Develop reports and analysis, including data-driven improvement opportunities, for management related to T&E compliance, expenditures, and cost savings 

  • Engage with key stakeholders to reinforce compliance to T&E policies and processes  

  • Coordinate the preparation and data gathering efforts for internal and external audits, and provide recommendations to address audit findings 

  • Serve as subject matter expert on Concur functionality, administration, and reporting 

  • Manage T&E system break fixes, enhancements, and testing needs 

 

Skills Required: 

  • 2+ years’ experience in travel and expense management, or in related finance, governance, or continuous improvement organization 

  • Effectively communicate topics to diverse audiences 

  • Ability to manage stakeholders and translate needs into business solutions 

  • Ability to work independently on several projects at the same time 

  • Ability to operate in a dynamic environment demonstrating strong results driven competency 

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively 

 

Education Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field
