Job Summary

This position is responsible for Singapore Principal Operating Company accounting and reporting matters. This role also works with various stakeholders, and partner with shared service centers to ensure smooth accounting process and compliance with internal controls and reporting standards.

How You Will Help Us Succeed

• Work closely with the Shared Service Centers especially AP team to ensure proper recording of Accounts Payables related transactions
• Support resolution of AP related issues including GRIR, PO and aged items
• Provide guidance to end user on AP related queries
• Preparation of month end closing entries
• Preparation of bi-weekly cashflow forecast
• Prepare and provide analysis on monthly, quarterly and yearly hedging reports    
• Responsible for rebates and credit limit updates and relevant SOX requirements
• Assist in the external statutory financial audits including preparation of audit schedules
• Ensure that internal controls and SOX reporting requirements are in place for Principal Company. Maintains proper documentation and procedures in the share point.
• Review and highlight potential problem areas and issues and ensure that guidance sought for resolutions and executions.    
• Responsible for various types of system testing and improvement projects as necessary

What You Will Bring to Us

• ACCA / Diploma in Accountancy, Finance, or related discipline
• Minimum 8 years of AP and Accounting related experiences 
• Good analytical, judgment and problem-solving skills 
• Good knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS and local GAAP
• Good knowledge of policies and processes, and familiarity with SOX compliance rules and internal controls
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, SAP and BW
• Multitasking, meticulous and able to work under tight deadlines
