Role Overview:

The Source to Contract (STC) Process Lead will report into the Source to Contract Global Process Owner (STC GPO). The STC Process Lead will work within FMC’s Global Procurement Group as a key member of the Procurement COE team, providing leadership and governance across all aspects of STC process. This role is responsible for the end to end processes, policies, data, and solutions used for sourcing, contracting, supplier onboarding, supplier risk management, and supplier relationship management for direct and indirect goods/services as executed by our business stakeholders. This role aligns closely with global stakeholders in Category Management, Supply Chain, Procurement Operations, Legal, Risk, Control & Audit, EHS, Data Privacy, Global Sustainability team, and Information Technology to ensure that the processes to identify necessary resources to support FMC operations and onboard relevant suppliers are sufficiently optimized and controlled.  This position is also accountable for partnering with the Procurement COE Analytics team to identify future data-driven opportunities to optimize the STC process while maintaining a strong control environment. Further, the STC Process Lead is responsible for driving sustainable procurement practices within the source to contract process and serving as the primary point of contact with the Global Sustainability team


Key Role Responsibilities

  • Engage with key stakeholders to reinforce compliance with STC processes by leading training and communication activities with super users
  • Execute roadmap for STC process and technology enhancements in coordination with key stakeholders
  • Develop expertise in source to contract technology and partner with the COE Technology Functional Lead to implement new functionality and improve processes
  • Identify & implement KPIs, leveraging industry benchmarks, to ensure compliance with policies and defined processes
  • Partner with cross functional network (i.e., category management, sustainability, legal) to assess impact of FMC’s sustainability initiatives and implement procurement processes to support achieving defined goals
  • Partner with stakeholders in Procurement and business functions to establish supplier risk and relationship management process
  • Coordinate audit activity related to source to contract processes
  • Support super user network for testing, training, and troubleshooting activities


Skillsets Required:

  • Functional / Technical Skills:
    • 3-5 years experience in a procurement or process governance organization is required
    • Proven strong project management skills, preferably in a cross functional environment
    • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including v-lookups, pivot tables, formulas, and charts is required
  • Soft Skills:
    • Demonstrate effective communication skills in complex topics to diverse audiences
    • Display organizational agility to manage different projects and manage relationships with different stakeholders
    • Ability to work independently on several projects at the same time
    • Ability to operate in a dynamic environment demonstrating strong results driven competency  
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively


Education Requirements

  • BS or BA required; Business discipline (Finance, Accounting, Business Management)
