Job Summary

 

This position is responsible for support Singapore entities’ accounting and financial reporting, it requires to work with various stakeholders, and partner with Cork COE teams and Manila SSC teams to ensure smooth accounting process and compliance with internal controls and reporting standards.

 

How You Will Help Us Succeed 

 

  • Work closely with Manila SSC & Cork COE to ensure proper recording of financials (office fixed assets, AP, T&E etc) and raise accruals where necessary. 

  • Preparation of month end closing entries and monthly flux analysis and review. 

  • Prepare IC recharge, review IC transactions and maintain IC tracker.  

  • Responsible for lease and related reconciliation and schedule. 

  • Overseas indirect tax reporting and related queries, ensure compliance and timely submission of withholding tax and GST returns. 

  • Responsible for legal entity tax, OTP, quarterly tax provision and deferred tax computation. 

  • Responsible for Treasury hedging report, flux analysis and bi-weekly cashflow. 

  • Assist in the external statutory financial audits including preparation of audit schedules. 

  • Ensure compliance of internal and SOX controls. Maintain proper documentation and procedures in the share point. 

  • Responsible for legal entity statutory survey. 

  • Monitor and ensure compliance to local finance policies, US GAAP and local GAAP 

  • Provide guidance to end user on financial queries. 

  • Responsible for various types of system testing and improvement projects as necessary

What You Will Bring to Us 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related discipline 

  • Minimum 5 years of Accounting and Tax experiences  

  • Strong business acumen, analysis, judgment and problem-solving skills  

  • Good knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS and local GAAP 

  • Good knowledge of policies and processes, and familiarity with SOX compliance rules and internal controls 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, SAP, BW and Concur 

  • Multitasking, meticulous, committed and self-driven
