Business/Function Overview

As a core team member of the Global Quality and Analytical Tech Center, the Regional Quality and Contamination Prevention (Q&CP) Manager is primarily responsible of managing the manufacturing quality performance within the region, including FMC plants and toller plants. He/she will coordinate necessary technical resources to support improvement projects in the region as well. He/she will also lead the plant audit of contamination prevention measures according the corporate standards.



  • Drive process safety
    • Implement and ensure adherence to Process and lab Safety standards
    • Promote a culture of safety among the QC labs in the region.
    • Meet all commitments regarding safety, environmental reporting and improvement initiatives.
  • Manage manufacturing quality performance and drive continuous improvement
    • Lead the implementation of FMC quality standards in plants and monitor the quality performance.
    • Lead the investigation of quality incident and ensure proper corrective actions and preventive actions are implemented.
    • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and develop action plan with QA/QC team in the plant.
    • Support the new product introduction projects from quality perspectives.
    • Implement corporate QAR standards with manufacturing sites: review change request and test plan, approve the QAR report.
    • Ensure there is no supply impact due to QC performance.
    • Provide technical review of QC lab capital projects.
    • Support the sites to maintain their ISO certificates and running quality management system on a high level.
  • Lead the implementation of contamination prevention program in the region
    • Coordinate with regional manufacturing and packaging sites to implement corporate contamination prevention standard.
    • Ensure suitable ACL methods are developed, transferred, and implemented in the plants and tollers.
    • Drive standardization of process and technology in coordination with the Tech Center and R&D resources. 
    • Develop contamination prevention audit schedule and lead the audit session per management approval.


Required Education

  • Bachelors degree or above in analytical chemistry, engineering, or related subject.



  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in quality control/quality assurance.
  • Prior leadership experience, preferred.
  • Strong safety leadership and experience with laboratory safety management.
  • Ability to interpret and apply broad basis principles, theories and concepts.
  • Experience applying data-based decision making and strong results driven/action orientated approach to leadership.
  • The ability to effectively present during informal and formal training sessions
