FMC is looking for a HR Representative to join our North America Commercial and Operations HR team. You will provide coordination and administrative support across North America. This is a highly visible position and has the opportunity to learn all aspects of human resources and exposure to different functional organizations.  Stand out candidates are eager to learn all aspects of human resources. 



  • Support with company and department initiatives and processes, such as job request and hiring, new hire orientation, culture and engagement, and process and system management
  • Support the execution of company-wide initiatives such the internship and co-op programs, training and development initiatives, and employee culture
  • Responsible for supporting data management processing and data review, generating recommendations for compensation, ad hoc reports in staffing, performance management and compensation and anaylzing trends based upon data
  • Respond to employee inquiries. Apply knowledge of available services available in response to inquiries. Analyze the nature of requests and investigates and/or escalates to appropriate support.
  • Support the leave of absence tracking process
  • Communicate and support on various HR processes including performance appraisals, salary planning, talent review, and HR metrics
  • Take initiative and continue to find ways to continuously improve efficiencies by partnering with the HR team and educate partners on our processes
  • Help employees and managers navigate through HR tools and processes
  • Maintain strong knowledge of HR processes, policies, and procedures
  • Manage confirmation letter generation for all personnel changes
  • Perform other tasks and projects as needed to support the human resources department


Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university or Master Degree in Human Resources preferable



  • One to three (3) years of experience in Human Resources or a related field
  • Strong technical ability (MS Office, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and a knack for finding answers
  • Experience using HR systems, Success Factors a plus
  • High level of personal maturity and high ethical standards with proven experience handling highly sensitive information
  • Advance decision making and analytical abilities with a high level of customer service IQ
  • Attention to detail and data integrity is required
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Experience in supporting multiple HR Team members is desirable
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
