This position is responsible for coordinating the required labeling activities as needed by production scheduling.  Ensuring all labeling requirements are met ensuring compliance with the regulatory bodies.  Ensuring all waste labels are correct for the outgoing shipments.  Work closely with the production scheduler to ensure correct labels are present when production requires.  Other duties as assigned by the EHS Supervisor.  


Job Overview and Primary Responsibilities:

  • Occupational Safety– To promote the FMC Wyoming Plant’s Safety Policy.  Prepare training materials, conduct training, and help train other trainers.  Perform audits and review audits performed by others.  Observe and coach employees in the work environment and help identify and implement changes to equipment and/or procedures that reduce risk.    
  • Environmental - To promote the FMC Wyoming Plant’s Environmental Policy.  Assist other EHS Team members and provide backup as needed with their tasks of managing wastes and preparing federal, state and local reports as required by permit, regulations or corporate. Apply federal and state environmental regulations and best practices, train others on these requirements and audit plant performance against them, to ensure that plant operation follows the regulations.  
  • Labeling and Packaging– To continually monitor for any label/packaging changes to ensure compliance with local, state and federal requirements and alignment with FMC marketing groups.  Stay in close contact with the production scheduler to ensure labels and all other packaging are available for production needs-this will include verifying and ordering all packaging components with enough lead time and updating plant documents to reflect the most up-to-date materials.  To act as the lead to ensure all work flow requests in system are reviewed for accuracy and approval.  
  • Safety and Health: Read and ask questions about safety materials such as Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Job Safety Information (JSI), and know where to find them.  



  • Previous Manufacturing experince preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft products. Some Procurement experience a plus.



  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
