Function Overview:

The successful Account Manager, Plant Health - Saskatchewan NorthEast candidate will be responsible to develop and manage account relationships to create growing demand for the FMC Plant Health business in the assigned geography. This candidate would be responsible for executing the day-to-day operations as a member of the Plant Health Sales team. The role reports directly into the Sales Manager, Plant Heath.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain safety as a top priority
  • Develop and implement a robust territory sales plan to align with territory level goals.
  • Partner with grower customers to understand needs to create and maintain growing demand for the FMC Plant Health Portfolio
  • Work with retail customers to build relationships to support and grow the FMC Plant Health Portfolio
  • Develop and maintain accurate retail level forecasting throughout the year
  • Deliver effective presentations for both virtual and face to face interactions with internal and external stakeholders
  • Work with retails and growers to introduce new technologies and products to the market
  • Majority of travel within the territory with the expectation of 20-25% nights away
  • Travel to include Canadian Team meetings

 

Required Education:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in an agricultural field

 

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in Western Canadian agriculture
  • 1+ years of experience in successful customer relationship management 
  • Strong business acumen and leadership skills
  • Must be detail oriented, results focused and a self-starter with strong organization and planning skills.
  • Strong presentations, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software 
  • CCA, P.Ag or similar designation an asset
