Main responsibilities:

  • Work with Functional Specialists to understand business requirements.
  • Develop technical specifications and review options with Design Owners to address complex requirements.
  • Be responsible for estimating effort to complete task, perform coding within agreed upon schedule following FMC Guidelines,
  • Perform unit testing and required documentations must be kept up to date and stored in identified systems and repositories.
  • Become updated with the latest technological advancement and enhancements in the world of SAP development and will need to adapt by self-training and on-line research.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline is required.
  • Formal training or certifications on SAP PO is preferred.
  • Fluent in English.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5 or more years of SAP PO experience required.
  • ABAP Experience is preferred but not required. ABAP development knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience with SAP CPI for Process Integration (CPI-PI, recently rebranded to SAP Integration Suite).
  • SAP CPI for Data Services (CPI-DS, recently rebranded to SAP Cloud Integration for Data Services) knowledge is desired.
  • SAP BTP knowledge/experience is a plus.
  • Strong interface development experience in SAP PO 7.50 is required.
  • SAP PO 7.50 implementation and support experience; configuring SLD is required.
  • Experience in configuring FILE, IDOC, REST, SOAP, HTTP, JMS, JDBC and RFC adapters.
  • Able to work with Functional Analysts to understand requirements and write technical specifications.
  • Ability to monitor PO for errors - alert configuration and monitoring is required.
  • In depth knowledge of SAP PO error handling and monitoring tools is required.
  • Working knowledge of PO caches and transports required.
  • Expertise in design of Functional and Technical interface specifications is required.
  • Expertise in development of mapping in PO to integrate S4HANA and interfacing systems required.
  • Strong experience in EDI standards such as IDOC, ANSI X12, cXML, and XML.
  • Experience of Java and custom adapter modules development is desired.
  • Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Web Services is desired.
  • Strong Experience with TCP/IP, SNMP, UDP/IP, SMTP, HTTP, HTTPS and AS2 protocols including implementing SSL on both the ABAP and JAVA stacks (require knowledge of mutual SSL) is required.
  • Strong understanding of Web Services, XML, XSLT, SOAP, REST, UML, and ESB concepts is required.
  • In depth knowledge of B2B, A2A, and B2G integration is desired.
  • Experience with SAP Order-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay functions is desired.
  • ERP functional or technical interface experience (IDoc, RFC, BAPI, etc.) desired.
  • Strong technical architecture design experience is required.
  • Experience with SQL Server or other enterprise level database software is desired.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written skills to communicate with non-technical clients, IT professionals, external business partners and management.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to escalate issues in a timely fashion.
  • Strong bias for action and desire to deliver results.
  • Strong customer focus.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to review a complex problem and present his/her manager with summary of options to be considered.
  • Working experience from top tier consulting companies is a plus.
