Role Overview:

 

  • The Enterprise Systems Design Owner is accountable for ensuring the integrity and sustainability of the Global Solution Design, for Record to Report and Global Consolidation.
  • The Enterprise Systems Design Owner provides enterprise solution expertise and design approval by partnering within IT and Global Stakeholders (Functional and IT Center of Excellence (COE),  Enterprise Governance and Continuous Improvement (EGCI))
  • The Record to Report Design Owner is accountable for governing, engaging on delivery of capabilities, and maintaining enterprise solutions aligned to the strategy of the Organization and the processes required by the Business.  
  • This role is Responsible for researching and communicating solution roadmaps and impacts to global design to impacted stakeholders
  • Accountable for adhering to IT governance and change management controls.

 

The Enterprise Systems Design Owner for Record to Report, and BPC Consolidations is a highly integrated role, who will work closely with Global Process Owners, FMC’s Enterprise Governance and Continuous Improvement (EGCI) group, Project Management Office and various Functional and Technical Centers of Excellence to lead solution design, introduce new or enhance exsiting enterprise systems design while ensuring the integrity, scalability and sustainability of recommended solution. 

 

This role is responsible for leading projects, including resource assumptions, testing strategy, acceptance criteria, risk management, training materials and transition to IT and Functional COE’s.  In addition, this role may be responsible for project management and oversight, as well as execution of projects.  The individual in this role should be comfortable working Globally, on Localization matters.

 

Required Education:

  • B.S. degree in a technical discipline (Engineering, Computer Science, Accounting Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Math) or a relevant Business discipline (i.e. Finance, Accounting, ) with demonstrated ERP experience. 

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of project delivery experience in complex SAP environment
  • Expert knowldege of SAP FICO business process such as Financial Accounting, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Inter-Company Transactions, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis, Project system, Results Analysis, Month End Close and others.
  • Strong understanding of SAP Level 3, 4, and 5 processes within designated functional area
  • Strong familiarity  with business processes and key performance metrics in the RtR function i.e. Month End Financial Close process, S/4 Hana FI-Controlling, Financial Reporting, Management Reporting, Global Consolidations, Stock Transfer, Procurement, Order Management, Billing, Accounts Payable
  • Project Management experience demonstrating adherence to governance, controls and best practices
  • Posesses integration knowledge of other workstreams like Order To Cash (OTC), Source To Pay (STP), and Make to Deply (MTD)
  • Strong knowledge in Financial Accounting, Localization and e-reporting compliance.
  • Strong SAP BPC Functional experience with knowledge in BPC Embedded, BW Integration and Analysis For Office Tools
  • Proficiency in SAP Finance and SAP Controlling required
  • Experience in SAP Business Planning & Consolidations (BPC) desired
  • Design and interpretation of architecture for SAP S/4Hana AND Non SAP data structures and interfaces to SAP. 
  • Experience implementing systems such as S/4 Hana, SAP BPC , SAP SAC -Planning, IBP, S/4 Hana
  • Experience with SAP master data (MDG) and transactional data that support the Record to Report processes.
