Join FMC’s Global Plant Health organization in transforming the agricultural industry for biological crop protection products. We are seeking a Commercial Business Developer for Pheromones who will be accountable for building our transformative global pheromone business.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate who thrives in direct customer interactions and with strategic foresight, help develop the future product portfolio for FMC. The customer facing responsibilities include building strong customer / partner interactions, be the interface between supply and demand, and anchoring terms in contracts. The business development activities include developing the future pheromone portfolio.


You are a self-starter with a passion to deliver results

Our ideal candidate will possess commercial experience from a sales or business development role, coupled with experience from the agricultural sector or industrial bio-tech industry. In addition, a relevant master’s degree from business school or technical university is required. 

In addition, the successful candidate will have the following attributes:

•    High ethical standards and possess the maturity to handle sensitive and confidential information
•    Ability to earn trust of peers and management across the organization and interact across all levels
•    Excellent communication skills
•    Open minded and respectful of various viewpoints and beliefs.  

Travelling to visit customers and FMC regions must be expected.


Additional Information, location and application

Preferably we want the successful candidate to be located at our European Innovation Center in Hørsholm, Denmark, which serves as our EMEA headquarter and the center for our Global Plant Health organization. At the office in Hørsholm you will become part of a multicultural environment, where you can count 34 different nationalities among your 160 colleagues. You will report to the Global Strategic Marketer, Plant Health. But other EU FMC locations will be considered for the right candidate.
