Overview:

The Regional MR&P COE Lead is responsible for preparing and consolidating the regional FP&A business planning process for one of FMC’s key geographic reporting regions. Responsibilities include preparing the scheduled periodic management reporting packages, delivering preliminary analysis of business results, liaise with and support Regional business leaders in the development of future budgets / forecasts, and interacting with the global team. Additionally, this position will work with the regional team to drive financial initiatives, validate regional financial commitments, and leverage business results with market insights. This position will report directly to the Senior Manager of the Global MR&P COE and acts as point of contact for regional business.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for delivering insightful analysis of business results, including both income statement and working capital/cash flow components
  • Liaise with and support Regional business leaders in the development of future budgets and forecasts while interacting with the global CO&E team
  • Drive forecast alignment between finance, commercial and supply chain through Demand Meetings with commercial leadership
  • Drive and manage outlook (forecasting and budgeting) process and workflow within region, including templates, coordination, consolidation, and presentation materials
  • Enable S&OP process through dashboard and KPI reporting and attend relevant meetings
  • Prepare reporting, analysis and insights for key executive meetings including relevant S&OP meetings and monthly & quarterly business reviews
  • Provide insights into ad hoc initiatives and analysis to Regional Finance Director and team
  • Drive key financial initiatives with Regional Finance Director such as improvement imperatives, investment opportunities, and solutions to business issues
  • Leverage analysis of consolidated business results and pair with market insights to develop recommendations on any commitment gaps Lead and manage COE analysts (as applicable) supporting region and countries to consistently provide quality service levels and prioritize resources

 

Education/Experience:

  • BS in Finance/Accounting
  • MBA/MA or CFA/CPA preferred
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

 

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in English language
  • 7+ years of overall finance experience
  • 3+ years of analytical and financial planning experience
  • Strong Excel skills, and IT/systems knowledge
  • SAP experience is highly preferred (particularly S4/Hana)

  • Build trust with the North America Finance Director by leading the timely and accurate execution of month-end close, business planning, and forecasting processes/reporting
  • Ability to go guide the North America Finance Director and leadership team to deliver on P&L and cash commitments by being an active thinking partner
  • Good understanding of business strategy and P&L/cash – strengths, weaknesses, risks, and opportunities
  • Very strong analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to dive into details to explain variances, while understand the big picture

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively balance financial and operational factors and analyze complex business problems to develop appropriate solutions in a timely and responsive manner
