Manager Finance, Accounting & Controlling

As part of the Controllership team of 4 members, you will assist in preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data, and providing financial recommendations to management. You will also help monitor financial transactions and ensure accurate financial reporting. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and contribute to the organization’s overall financial management.

What you do with us (Responsibilities)

  • Assist in monthly/quarterly financial close process, including ensuring all costs incurred are properly recorded, reviewing journal entries, etc.
  • Fixed Assets accounting, capitalization review and depreciation accounting under US GAAP and Indian GAAP
  • Review of statutory compliance like TDS deduction, GST bookings, etc.
  • Preparing accurate and timely financial statements and reports.
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights and recommendations to management.
  • Monitor financial transactions and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement and cost optimization.
  • Assist in financial audits and regulatory compliance;
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of financial strategies;
  • Stay updated with industry trends and changes in financial regulations;

What you bring (Educational Background and Competencies)

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field along with Chartered Accountant with a minimum 5-8 years of experience mandatory
  • Good understanding of US GAAP, Indian GAAP and Cost Accounting Standards
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the manufacturing sector
  • Experience with S4 HANA ERP systems and financial software like Blackline and other associated systems
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
