Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor SCADA/DC systems to ensure smooth plant operations according to standard operating procedures.
- Adjust controls and equipment via SCADA to regulate temperature, pressure, flow rate, and manage chemical reactions.
- Monitor real-time data from SCADA systems to detect abnormalities, troubleshoot issues, and ensure continuous operations.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and systems, using SCADA data, to detect malfunctions and perform necessary maintenance.
- Collect and analyze samples of raw materials and finished products, ensuring they meet safety and quality standards.
- Record data from SCADA systems, operations, process conditions, and laboratory results for production logs, compliance reports, and operational optimization.
- Collaborate with engineers, chemists, and other team members to enhance production efficiency and safety protocols.
- Maintain a disciplined and safe working environment, ensuring all safety procedures are followed and practiced.
Qualifications:
- Education: Diploma in Chemical Engineering or related field
- Experience: 3 to 5 years in SCADA operations or plant operations, preferably in a chemical plant or similar industrial environment.
