In the role of Director, Diversity and Inclusion, you will be integral to realizing our vision of FMC as a progressive, inclusive company, where employees come to work each day engaged and with a sense of belonging, a company where employees can truly See Yourself in FMC, Be Yourself in FMC.  You will bring deep experience in D&I best practices with a global perspective. You will assess the current state of the D&I program across FMC, align with executive stakeholders on “must win” goals, and prioritize strategic elements for implementation. The Director of D&I will report to the Chief Sustainability Officer and be a key member of the Global Sustainability Leadership team.

 

Job Overview and Primary Responsibilities:

  • Serve as FMC’s senior thought leader and strategist for diversity and inclusion
  • Bring new practices, and programs to FMC that accelerate a climate of inclusiveness
  • Guide business leaders in understanding diversity from a global and local perspective
  • Work closely with executive leadership, HR and Talent Management developing internal education and global learning and development programs
  • Provide expertise and advice to ensure the inclusiveness of core people and talent-related processes (e.g. talent acquisition, retention and promotion processes, inclusive policies).
  • Align with the executive leaders on strategic priorities and develop overall strategy, multi-year implementation plan and associated budget
  • Ensure the D&I plan engages stakeholders within the business, HR, legal, corporate communications and sustainability and drives accountability across the enterprise
  • Provide thought leadership on expanding FMC’s D&I objectives to the wider business ecosphere (customers, vendors, contractors etc)
  • Advise business leaders and regional inclusion councils. Coach on how to reinforce key messages in their formal and informal communications.
  • Define metrics that measure impact of D&I programs and associated reports.
  • Deepen the impact of our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) by engaging them in talent development initiatives, policy review for inclusion, education campaigns and recruitment drives. Further expand the geographic presence of our ERGs
  • Apply a strategic lens to assess which indices and organizations FMC should use as frameworks to advance our D&I agenda e.g. HRC CEI, Bloomberg gender equality index, CEO action for diversity and inclusionTM
  • Remain current on emerging D&I practices through external networks and organizations

 

Qualifications:

  • You have a minimum of 5 years leading diversity and inclusion in a growing company with a global footprint and 5000+ employees.
  • You will have business acumen developed through 5+ years in roles outside of D&I or HR
  • Your track record of success in D&I will include measurable change resulting from strategies and practices you have implemented
  • You are well versed in stakeholder engagement across different levels (CEO, business leaders, local employees)
  • Bachelor’s degree required

 

Full vaccination against COVID-19 is a condition of employment.
