ES Design Owner, Finance Treasury
The Global Enterprise Systems Design Owner for Treasury is an integrated role, who will work closely with Global Process Owners, FMC’s Enterprise Governance and Continuous Improvement (EGCI) group, Project Management Office and various Functional and Technical Centers of Excellence to lead solution design, introduce new or enhance existing enterprise systems design; while ensuring the integrity, scalability, and sustainability of recommended solution. This role is responsible for leading projects, including resource assumptions, testing strategy, acceptance criteria, risk management, training materials and transition to IT and Functional COE’s. In addition, this role may be responsible for project management and oversight, as well as execution of projects. The individual in this role should be comfortable working Globally, on Localization matters.
Responsibilities:
• The Global Enterprise Systems Design Owner is accountable for ensuring the integrity and sustainability of the global Solution Design for the Treasury function.
• The Enterprise Systems Design Owner provides enterprise solution expertise and design approval by partnering within IT and with Global Stakeholders (Functional and IT Center of Excellence (COE), Enterprise Governance and Continuous Improvement (EGCI))
• The Treasury Design Owner is accountable for governing, engaging on delivery of capabilities, and maintaining enterprise solutions aligned to the strategy of the Organization and the Treasury processes required by the Business.
• This role is Responsible for researching and communicating solution roadmaps and impacts to global design to integrated stakeholders
• Accountable for adhering to IT governance and change management controls.
Qualification/ competencies:
Education:
• B.S. degree in a technical discipline (Engineering, Computer Science, Accounting Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Mathematics) or a relevant Business discipline (i.e. Finance, Accounting, Economics) with demonstrated ERP experience.
• Certified Treasury Professional (CTP), preferred.
Qualifications:
• Expert technical and functional knowledge of S4 HANA SAP Treasury and Risk Management and SAP Bank Accounting. As many of the following SAP modules as possible, are required: In House Cash, Bank Communication Management, Bank Account Management, Electronic & Manual Bank Statement Reconciliation, Cash and Liquidity Management, Treasury and Risk Management; Treasury Master Data, including Business Partners
• Familiarity with SAP Finance: Organization Structure (Company Codes, Chart of Accounts, Ledgers), General Ledgers, Accounts Payable (Vendor Invoice Management, Vendor Payment Processing), Accounts Receivable (Customer Mandates, Customer Payments), Asset Accounting (Assets)
• Must have S4 HANA experience
• Strong understanding of SAP Level 3, 4, and 5 processes within designated functional area
• Design and interpretation of SAP Treasury landscape and interfaces (SWIFT, TMS, Bloomberg)
• Experience with Analysis for Office Tools
• Experience with SAP master data and transactional data that support the Treasury processes.
• In-depth knowledge of business processes and key performance metrics in the Treasury function (foreign exchange, in-house banking, external debt, intercompany lending, TMS integration, cash management, etc.)
• Possess integration knowledge of other workstreams like Order to Cash (OTC), Source to Pay (STP), Record to Report (RtR)
