Enterprise Systems Centre of Excellence Finance Specialist

Duties: Investigate and resolve SAP system issues, collaborate with business users to obtain requirements, develop change plans that adhere to the global design, and define unit, integration, and regression test plans for system fixes and enhancements. Perform system configuration for approved system changes, develop functional specifications, coordinate with developers, and perform unit and integration testing. Coordinate user acceptance testing with business users and ensure successfully tested and approved system changes are implemented in the production environment without disruption on existing system functionality. Confirm results of system changes satisfy business requirements and new business processes operate effectively and efficiently in the integrated system environment. Maintain required documentation of system changes, including, but not limited to configuration documentation, process design documentation, business procedures, and training documentation. Perform monitoring activities, including, but not limited to IDoc and batch job monitoring, to ensure systems and interfaces are properly functioning. Collaborate with the technical team and perform functional validation activities to complete system upgrades, updates, and refreshes activities within the defined schedule. Accomplish knowledge transfer activities as scheduled to ensure readiness to support new solutions and functionalities.

 

Requirements: Requires Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Business, Accounting or related field of study, and 5 years of experience in any job title/occupation/position involving SAP project implementation and/or support. Will accept master’s degree and 3 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor and 5 years of experience. Experience specified must include 5 years of experience (or 3 years of experience if Master’s degree) with each of the following: working in an SAP Global Support environment; SAP Controlling including Product Costing, Material Ledger, Actual Costing, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders and other similar cost objects. Experience specified must also include 4 years of experience (or 3 years of experience if Master’s degree) with each of the following: Bank Account Management, Banking Interfaces, DMEE configuration, I-DOC, XML, BAI2, MT940 and SWIFT net interfaces; Cash and liquidity management, in house cash, treasury risk management and FX hedging process; and FSCM – Finance Supply Chain Management, including: Accounts Receivables Collection Management, Credit Management, Dispute Management and A/R Cash Application. Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.
