Function Overview:

This Registration Specialist position for FMC Global Specialty Solutions (GSS) is responsible for completing  federal registration activities and ensuring regulatory compliance for the Professional (Pro) and Consumer and Environmental Solutions (CES) business in GSS.  The individual will work closely with the Pro and CES Product Registration Managers to complete assigned federal registration activities in a timely and transparent manner consistent with business needs.



  • In alignment with business priorities and working with the Pro and CES Product Registration Managers, complete federal registration activities which includes: coordinating federal registration submissions, managing federal registration documentation, and effectively communicating planned, pending and completed federal registration activity to all internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with the GSS State Registration and Label Specialist to ensure new and amended product labels are prepared for product packaging.
  • Serve as an additional resource for state registration and labeling activities within GSS during peak resource periods.
  • Initiate and implement continuous improvement efforts to enhance the overall effectiveness and efficiency in obtaining and maintaining federal product registrations.
  • Comply with the principles of Responsible Care and promote Product Stewardship.
  • Work in a safe manner and support a safe working environment


Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree, typically from the science field relevant to pesticide regulation



  • Technical/scientific background in a discipline relevant to the regulation of pesticides
  • Strong organizational skills
  • The ability to work with multiple individuals on multiple priority activities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven track record in a cross functional environment.
  • Analytically strong with great attention to details.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with information database administration
  • Proficiency in MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, Adobe Acrobat, Quark, and proofreading software
