JOB OVERVIEW

 

The Workforce Planning & Analytics Partner supports achieving our strategic goals through deploying self service people analytics, capacity planning, collaboration and effective communication, while ensuring alignment with strategic goals. This position provides consultative support to Business HR, assisting with and providing guidance on workforce data analysis and operational headcount planning. This role is also accountable for supporting headcount planning (budget preparation/input) and reporting assignments.  The position is based in our corporate headquarters in Philadelphia, PA and reports to the Sr. Manager Workforce Planning & Analytics.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Support business decisions through the preparation of timely and accurate workforce insights, with specific focus on improving the employee experience and maximizing operational efficiencies
  • Create a meaningful interpretation of data through use of tools, industry experience and logic to frame situations and allow meaningful dialogue and decision making
  • Aggregate forecast information into a comprehensive document to be published with senior leadership for headcount, budget, and capacity planning purposes
  • Provide analysis and recommendations to improve staffing levels and efficiency
  • Analyzes data using web tools and other Company software and prepares recommendations and reports to drive high-impact process improvement efforts
  • Analyze various types of HR data (surveys, demographics, movement, vacation utilization, etc.) for on-going historical trend analysis and offer recommendations for forecasting purposes
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Effectively communicate with peers and those we support in the business to ensure high quality and timely completion of work requests
  • Update workforce management and other data bases as changes occur
  • Respond to management requests to produce “what if” scenarios
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

 

  • A bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of experience building complex data analysis
  • At least 5 years experience of Human Resources and budgeting functions preferred
  • Experience with data visualization programs report writing tools required, experience with SuccessFactors reporting tools including Workforce Analytics or SAP Analytics cloud preferred.
  • Excellent communication (oral, written, presentation and facilitation) skills with ability to discuss matters with technical and non-technical individuals.
  • Technical proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Power Point.
  • Must be results oriented, customer-focused and able to manage multiple projects.
  • Must have the ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues by using judgment that is consistent with data architecture design and company strategic goals
