Indirect Procurement Sourcing Manager

Procurement Overview:

The Global Procurement Function is a key enabler of the top and bottom-line performance of FMC.  Our Procurement function is comprised of professionals positioned around the world to partner with business leaders to ensure our customers’ expectations are exceeded, and our suppliers view FMC as a customer of choice. We are looking for the right people to help us drive our Indirect Procurement organization to the next level.

 

Role Overview:

FMC is seeking two Indirect Procurement Sourcing Manager to join our dynamic Global Procurement team. To optimize our Indirect Procurement sourcing approach, we are looking for individuals with a broad range of experience in Indirect Procurement, capable of managing various categories without being limited to one specific area. These roles are critical in driving strategic sourcing and procurement processes, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for a wide range of indirect procurement categories.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings.
  • Manage supplier relationships, negotiations, and contracts to ensure favorable terms.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Utilize strong analytical skills to assess procurement data, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategic changes.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to drive procurement projects and initiatives.

 

Must-Have Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in Indirect Procurement, with a proven track record of managing multiple categories.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead cross-functional projects.

 

Required Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, and minimum 3 years of experience in indirect procurement
  • We are looking for one individual who has more experience in Professional Services such as (but not limited to): IT, Marketing and HR. And for the other individual to have more experience with plant related spend such as MRO, waste management, and contractor services.
