Internship Overview

FMC views internships as one of its most important sources for identifying promising talent.  Internships accelerate your professional development and functional expertise.  We are seeking students or new graduates to support the Logistics and Trade Compliance functional teams.  FMC provides you the opportunity to gain valuable on-the-job experience and contribute to real-world projects in our global corporate headquarters office in Philadelphia, PA.  Possible internship assignments include support with Logistics process and Global Trade Compliance activities.


Logistics and Trade Compliance Internship Details

  • Assist department in daily activities and special projects with hands-on application of Logistics process, including process improvement implementations in a fast-paced work environment

 

  • Learn, understand, and gain experience through job shadowing, mentoring, and training opportunities with experienced Logistics super users.

 

  • Help organize and update training material while supporting the design and construction of Logistics SharePoint.

 

  • Support daily update of various dashboards via Power BI application.

 

  • Support compliance audits and reporting.

 

  • Contribute ideas and participate as a productive member of the department including attending weekly meetings and occasional networking events

Basic Qualifications

  • Student in an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree program
  • Fields of study: Logistics, Supply Chain and/or Trade Compliance related majors
  • At least a rising junior prior to starting internship
  • Academic good standing
  • Highly motivated with a desire to learn
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and knowledge of Power BI.
  • Must be able to relocate to the Philadelphia, PA area for the duration of the internship, and complete daily work commute using reliable transportation.  Relocation assistance may be available.
