Operations FP&A - NAC Analyst

Overview:

The Operations FP&A Analyst is responsible for providing support to the North America OFP&A Region within the areas of management reporting, forecast and budget coordination, ad hoc analysis. Responsibilities include preparing periodic management reporting packages, delivering analysis of business results, liaise with and support regional finance OFPA leadership in the consolidation of forecasts and budgets, and interacting with the COE teams. This position will report directly to the NAC Operations FP&A Manager.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Primarily supports Tolling Sites in the following:
    • Month-end close responsibilities include reviewing potential variances for Material Usage, Toll Fee, Volume and Spend; requesting accruals and adjustments as necessary
    • Analyze actual month end results to provide detailed explanations to leadership
    • Provide monthly forecast of costs and variances for future EBIT performance
    • Prepare Annual Budget input; review cost data with business partners
    • Provide support for ongoing inventory accuracy including participation in Physical Counts
    • Support and help drive operational improvement in transactional management/discipline
    • Use trend data on variances to recommend changes/improvements to Toll Operations: i.e. BOM updates, toll fee management, inventory adjustments, etc

 

  • Inventory Review & Analysis
    • Quarterly inventory reconciliation data for Tolling and 3rd Party Warehouses
    • Ad Hoc support for Annual Physical Inventory Counts which may include light travel

 

  • Coordinate and consolidate the Corporate Remediation forecast of approximately $150m
  • Provide FP&A reporting support to OFPA management and Operations Funcational leader
  • Ad Hoc Assignments

 

Education:

BA/BS in Finance/Accounting preferred

 

Experience:

  • 5+ years of overall finance experience
  • 2+ years of manufacturing finance experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft products
  • ERP experience is essential with SAP exposure highly favorable
