FMC is seeking a motivated Project Management Specialist to join our Global Marketing organization. The ideal candidate has experience managing complex and highly visible projects with ease. This role requires someone with strong organizational skills who is detail-oriented and comfortable in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
The Project Management Specialist will coordinate global projects across multiple regions and product categories. They will assist teams with developing project plans, tracking key metrics and performance indicators, sharing project status updates, and effectively mitigating project risks to deliver projects on time.
The Project Management Specialist will report to Global Director of Lifecycle Management and be a part of the Global Marketing Center of Excellence. This role will support Global Product Managers, local country marketing and commercial managers, and cross-functional leadership. The Project Management Specialist will work with stakeholders to coordinate a globally harmonized yet locally tailored project plan for various marketing initiatives.
Expectations
- Coordinate the execution of Global Marketing initiatives. You will work side by side with FMC marketing leaders and commercial teams to ensure the success of projects.
- Execution will include:
- Assist in the development of project plans related to a variety of marketing initiatives including new product introductions, brand optimization, lifecycle management, market expansion activities and commercial program development
- Coordinate activities with regional teams and market development leads to deliver the goals of the project
- Develop deliverables and KPIs necessary to progress the project plan in conjunction with regional marketing teams, functional stakeholders and Center of Excellence team members
- Management and maintenance of the project plan deliverables and regular communication with stakeholders regarding progress, risks and issues
- Articulating project status updates and key success measures to senior leadership
Required Education
- BA/BS in finance, business, marketing, or relevant field
Qualifications
- Three years related experience with multidisciplinary project teams in a related function
- Ability to coordinate project plans and manage individual deadlines and goals (PMP/PMI Certification or equivalent would be an advantage)
- Strong business process knowledge and business process experience
- The position requires a strong understanding of the technical, functional and change management elements involved in the planning and execution of large projects
- Proven leadership and motivational skills
- Must embrace change and be able to work within a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Must possess excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, with demonstrated ability to communicate technically and in business terms at all levels inside and outside the organization.
- Strong communication and presentation skills; able to articulate and convey complex ideas
- Ability to work on global projects and work with large teams in different time zones and locations
- High proficiency in MS Office suite, including project management components
