The Global Procurement and Logistics Senior Financial Analyst will support the Finance Manager of Global Procurement and Logistics and will closely liaison with key members of the Global Procurement and Operations teams, Manufacturing Finance team, Corporate Accounting, and other stakeholders.

 

Responsibilities

  • Prepare the annual budget and monthly forecast of stakeholder cost centers while being continuously connected to cost center owners to understand changes in business operations.
  • Assist with the annual budget and monthly forecast of raw materials, intermediates, tolling fees, freight costs, tariffs/duties and other inventoriable costs for the global organization while applying analytical knowledge of business and market conditions to challenge the appropriateness of pricing submissions and analyze variances
  • Leverage information available through SAP, monthly forecasting, and other reporting platforms to provide real-time analytical and decision-making support to the procurement and operations teams
  • Provide problem-solving support to stakeholders in areas such as invoice processing, monthly accruals, budgetary decisions, etc.
  • Interact routinely with the other finance-specific functions of the organization to ensure procurement and logistics-related initiatives are properly incorporated into business planning and financial results
  • Compile, analyze, and report meaningful financial data from multiple global sources
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for processes performed on a routine basis
  • Support effective continuous improvement initiatives within the function and throughout the organization with the ongoing implementation of SAP S/4HANA

 

Required Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience within Finance, Accounting, or related disciplines
  • SAP experience strongly preferred
  • Candidate needs to work well in a team environment
  • Advanced computer skills, especially proficient in Excel
  • Strong data analysis capabilities
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Able to handle varying and dynamic workloads while maintaining project prioritization
  • High level of organization and detail-oriented
  • Conscious to ask questions to understand key concepts
  • Should be flexible and adaptable to changing environments
  • Flexibility to working extended hours during peak reporting periods
  • Ability to travel both domestic and/or international up to 10%
