Sourcing Manager, Commodities & Functional Additives

Duties: Collaborate with functional leads to build subcategory strategies, within Commodities and Functional Additives, based on a thorough understanding of FMC’s business conditions. Conduct cost-analysis  activities in partnership with finance and the business to identify savings opportunities against management targets. Identify, contract, and manage strategic relationship for operations and capital expenditure. Manage seamless business partnerships with the manufacturing, supply chain and manufacturing technology functions. Develop and execute subcategory sourcing strategies (e.g. RFI, RFP, RFQ, scorecard and bid analysis, etc.). Negotiate supplier contracts utilizing FMC contract templates & procedures. Manage timely and cost-effective resolution of contractual variations with stakeholders and suppliers. Integrate best practices and modernized business processes across FMC, ensuring best use of tools, techniques and processes. Collaborate with FMC’s Global Procurement Group’s Center of Excellence (CoE) team.

Requirements: Requires Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Chemical Engineering and Supply Chain or related field of study, and 5 years of international experience within supply chain and procurement in a multinational environment within the AgChemicals industry. Experience specified must include 5 years of experience with SAP system; and 3 years of experience with Chemicals vendor’s relationship. Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days a week. Domestic/International Travel required 10% per year.
