 As the Total Rewards Manager, EMEA and North America, you will enjoy companywide visibility as you support our business units, corporate functions and locations throughout these regions. It will be your responsibility to evaluate compensation programs to ensure they are in line with corporate policies and objectives.  For EMEA, this will include responsibility for benefits and mobility.

In this role you report to the Global Total Rewards Director, Philadelphia. You will be part of the Global Total Rewards team with the corporate team in Philadelphia, US, and regional peers in LATAM and APAC.  You will be connecting regularly with the site HR teams across EMEA , the US and Canada.

Your client base in North America will include corporate and business leadership and staff at the Philadelphia headquarters, as well as commercial, R&D and manufacturing sites in the US and Canada, totaling approximately 1500 employees.  The EMEA region consists of around 1600 employees in 36 countries.  You will be located at The FMC Tower in Philadelphia.


Key responsibilities:

With direction and guidance from the Global Total Rewards Director and Corporate team, as well as the Regional HR Director, you will lead daily and annual compensation processes, (including benefits and mobility for EMEA) and participate in special projects as requested. It is expected that you will make a positive impact on employees in these areas by working in conjunction with the businesses, local HR partners and line managers. Moreover, you will:

  • Act as the primary contact for global and local salary and benefits surveys. Evaluate and recommend appropriate sources for local market and specific functional surveys and studies.

  • Assure proper evaluation of jobs, up through executive levels, applying the Hay benchmark/evaluation model and market pricing techniques.

  • Monitor competitive trends in compensation and benefits and identifying the organization's position compared to other employers.

  • Provide Input to the design of incentives and drive implementation of annual incentive & other variable pay programs aligned to business performance and strategy.

  • Lead communication of compensation and benefits plans and annual processes in both regions, as well as deliver training for HR, line managers and employees as required

  • Assist with executive compensation and corporate compensation and benefits policy development as a member of the corporate total rewards team.

  • For EMEA, you will be the regional point of contact for benefits brokers, relocation support providers and other outsourced providers and it will be expected of you to recommend additions or changes to benefits programs to optimize costs and impact.

More about you:

Ideally you have a Bachelors/Master Degree in Business, Finance or HR combined with min. 5-8+ years of experience within Total Rewards in a multi-country context. Also, you’re recognized for:

  • Ability to work well in a team environment; able to build and maintain strong client relationships and influence as appropriate

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, synthesize and draw conclusions from data is key. High degree of attention to detail.

  • Results–orientation and the ability to manage multiple projects.

  • Expert Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word and experience with HR systems (SAP and/or others)

  • Experience with Hay job evaluation system a plus
