Business/Function Overview

The Product Registration Manager for the FMC US Crop business is accountable for the development and implementation of regulatory strategies and tactical plans to grow and defend assigned products within the US Crop portfolio.   In this capacity, the Product Registration Manager will collaborate closely with the Product Development, Marketing, Global Regulatory and Supply Chain functions to drive for business results and ensuring regulatory compliance. The position requires regulatory competency, strong project management skills, and the ability to influence for positive outcomes.

 

Responsibilities

  • Drive the development and execution of regulatory strategies and tactical plans for registration of products in the US.
  • Lead the preparation, submission, and approval of quality US EPA submissions.
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable federal and state pesticide laws and regulations pertaining to the sale and distribution of Specialty products in the US, including FIFRA, PRIA, and FQPA.
  • Represent FMC on industry committees and work groups focused on influencing regulatory policies and procedures important to their assigned products as well as the US product portfolio.
  • Maintain awareness of key regulatory issues and recommend actions in advance of competitive pressure.
  • Comply with the principles of Responsible Care and promote Product Stewardship.
  • Work in a safe manner and support a safe working environment. 

Required Education 

  • Bachelor's degree, typically from the science field relevant to pesticide regulation

 

Qualifications 

  • Technical/scientific background and experience relevant to the regulation of pesticides. (FIFRA, PRIA, etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work with multiple individuals on priority activities
  • Strong attention to detail with deadline and customer service orientation
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to influence for positive outcomes
  • Strong negotiation skills  
  • Ability to travel (10%)
