For our Formulation unit in our production site based in Uffholtz (France) we are currently looking for a highly motivated

 

EMEA Tech Center New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineer (m/f/d)

 

The primary role for the NPI Engineer is project coordination for launches of new products within the region and changes to the existing supply chain that may occur via qualification of a new manufacturing site, alternate material testing, or new pack size offerings. In this role, the individual will establish a network across the key stakeholders and ensure actions are delivered in time to support the market demands. In addition to these coordination responsibilities, this role may be required to support key projects and programs within the region to drive process safety, continuous improvement, and technical standardization efforts.

 

Your Responsibilities

  • Act as primary contact for early manufacturing technology assessment of new active types to understand challenges (i.e. hazard, risk, capability, capacity, and complexity) and engage appropriate resources
  • Develop and track project plans (for manufacturing part), coordinating with Business, Regulatory, Planning, Procurement, R&D, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Tech Center
  • Ensure Technical Transfer Package (TTP) is developed on schedule in support of Capital Deployment Process (CDP) and product launch plans
  • Coordinate changes such as new pack sizes, ingredient qualifications, and manufacturing site transfers
  • Provide technical support for Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs) conducted at the manufacturing sites or for projects
  • Support Improvement Projects: Contribute to process optimization, and capital project execution in the region

 

Qualifications

  • BE/BA/BS in Chemical, Process or Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in a chemical environment
  • Excellent experience delivering projects with multiple stakeholders and varying project demands
  • Experience with process safety management, capital deployment process and project management
  • Strong engineering fundamentals
  • Lean six sigma certification and Knowledge of quality assurance programs or statistical quality control is a plus
