COE Demand Planning Program Lead

Overview:

The Center of Excellence (COE) Program Lead position will be accountable for the design, ownership, and training of critical business processes within Supply Chain and Operations.  This position will work cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, IT, Enterprise Governance and Continuous Improvement, and Finance organizations to define and align globally on singular work procedures for business-critical processes.  The COE Program Lead is also responsible for driving continuous improvement through a Super User network.


Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for all SAP/IBP Blueprint designs (Global, Regional, and Local) for Demand Planning.
  • Active participation in all proposed changes/enhancements to SAP/IBP for Demand Planning to assess the business value of the proposed change, the business impact of the change locally, regionally, and globally, and assess the business value of the proposed change outside of the original driver of the change (i.e. other regions, other functions, etc.)
  • Own, develop, get approval for business cases via EGCI, IT, and other functional processes for any technical improvements to drive process and system improvements for Demand Planning.
  • Accountable for all S4/IBP Blueprint designs (Global, Regional, and Local) for Demand Planning.
  • Accountability for the design, ownership, training, and job aide documentation for Demand Planning processes within FMC.  This is not limited to just systems, but the end-to-end process steps of which systems play an important role.
  • Accountable, in conjunction with Line Management, to develop and sustain a Super User network for Demand Planning.
  • Utilize user feedback, continuous improvement, and external benchmarking to assess and improve critical business processes to ensure they are maintained up-to-date based on the changing external environment and business needs.

 

Required Education:

  • BS degree in engineering, technical, supply chain or related field.

 

Qualifications:

  • Experience with IBP, SAP, and BI or equivalent systems in the areas of Demand Planning
  • Demonstrated strong communication skills to create effective interactions with multiple functional groups and levels of the organization.  Includes the ability to present and sell ideas, plans and recommendations through strong personal influence building skills that lead to consensus decisions and plans.
  • Proven experience in process documentation and evaluating current process performance to drive best practices across the globe, in multiple functions, and through multiple levels of leadership
  • Proven experience in project management to manage driving project deliverables within budget across multiphase projects over long periods of time
  • Motivated, self-starter that can execute with minimal direction
  • Ability to develop credibility, maintain relationships and operate effectively with multiple levels of the organization
  • Ability to plan and coordinate multiple projects and work initiatives at the same time
  • Ability to clearly articulate/discuss complex information with the site (all levels of the organization), discern their needs, and develop solutions to address those needs
  • Financial understanding and ability to complete routine cost / benefit analysis
  • Ability to travel International & US Travel approximately 25%

 

 

Grade 20:

  • 5+ years of Planning day-to-day experience with Advancing Planning Software and ERP system
  • Revised documented existing work processes at a local/regional level; exposure limited to one geography

 

Grade 21:

  • 7+ years of Planning day-to-day experience with Advancing Planning Software and ERP system
  • 3+ years of experience supervising Planning users utilizing Advancing Planning Software and ERP system
  • New Process Documentation for processes that did not exist at a level greater than an individual site location
  • Previous experience being the regional level Subject Matter Expert for a given function
  • Regionally or Globally interactions with have driven business results
