Position Summary:

The Law Department is seeking a Compliance Analyst to provide support to our compliance team.   This person will also be required to assist in other projects as needed.  The candidate will be motivated, creative and result oriented, and will be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.  Work is performed under the general supervision of legal counsel.



  • Perform independent, first-level reviews of advertising and other materials (website content, sweepstakes, etc.) produced for the Crop Solutions business in the U.S. for compliance with applicable EPA regulations and general advertising compliance regulations, and for compliance with trademark guidelines.
  • Perform reviews of product labeling (new and amended) for compliance with legal standards and FMC guidelines, in collaboration with legal counsel.
  • Regularly assess review process for improved efficacy and efficiency.
  • Support import/export/duty management activities that focus on driving efficiencies or cost savings for the company.
  • Collaborate with counsel to: (i) monitor compliance with advertising regulations, , and (ii) provide training to company personnel and outside advertising firms retained by FMC.
  • Support general compliance including both trade and ethics compliance tasks when needed.
  • Support commercial legal team on specifically assigned projects, as may be needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required


  • 1-3 years of experience in regulatory compliance for consumer chemicals, pharma, or related field strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of FIFRA and applicable state regulations preferred, but not required.
  • Learning-agility mindset, with an ability to learn and understand evolving regulations and then design processes to apply those regulations in a practical way to business
  • Highly organized, detail oriented and able to follow through on assignments
  • Demonstrated ability to work successfully with other departments to advance organizational goals
  • Solid, demonstrated written and verbal communication skills and a detail orientation
  • Excellent team and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain strict levels of confidentiality
  • A confident, but flexible personality

Strong general computer skills, including expert knowledge of Microsoft Office business software (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and Internet usage, and including ability to learn and operate as primary user the specialized advertising review database system utilized by the company
