  • Lead and directly manage Network and Communications team, developing and managing internal team members ensuring accountability and performance objectives are met
  • Provide advanced design, implementation, support and management services for Network and Communications Infrastructure across FMC Sites and Data Centers, along with FMC Public and Private Cloud operating environments
  • Accountable for providing Service Management and Escalation functions for FMC’s Global Network infrastructure, working closely with our support partners and Service Desk organization in the consistent delivery of Networking services
  • Develop and enforce Global Standards and Policies in the areas of Networking, Security, Telephony and Communications  
  • Lead global cross-functional teams and vendor resources in successful delivery of medium to large projects 
  • Accountable for vendor management functions, managing service delivery, as well as account team management and billing operations
  • Track and Report Key Network and Communications Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements to FMC IT Management and Stakeholders
  • Manage full lifecycle of Network and Communications Technical Infrastructure including inventory, decoms and upgrades, maintenance renewals and support information
  • Provide capacity forecasting/budgeting informing IT and Business Managers about enhancements and key capital investments
  • Develop and Manage Network and Communications design documents, diagrams and other documentation
  • Adhere to and enforce all FMC IT, PMO, Audit/Compliance, Finance, Legal, Procurement and Data Privacy Office standard processes and policies
  • Lead due diligence and decision-making process regarding Network and Communication infrastructure strategy and vision
  • Collaborate closely with Corporate IT, Regional and Site IT, Business functions, and strategic partners to enable Regional and Site project services
  • Collaborate and provide architecture, strategy and vision to IT Security, Server, AV, Operations and Collaborative Systems teams
  • Provide Vulnerability Management function for all Network and Communications infrastructure, adhering to FMC Vulnerability Management standard
  • Experience/Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years track record of progressive and direct management of effective people, teams and vendor resources
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years specialized knowledge development and experience in Enterprise-class LAN and WAN devices such as Load Balancers, Appliances, WAN Optimization devices, Firewalls, Switches, and Routers
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of advanced knowledge and experience with core networking protocols and technologies such as BGP, OSPF, 802.1Q (VLAN), 802.1x (NAC), 802.11x (Wireless), STP, Ethernet, IP, TCP, UDP, and SNMP
  • Minimum of 3 years of direct experience performing Budgeting, Forecasting and Financial analysis functions
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with Voice and Video Convergence gateways, protocols, codecs, and load balancing technologies 
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with WAN and LAN concepts, Network security, optimization, load balancing, performance monitoring and system resiliency/availability
  • Demonstrated ability to perform IT Design and Architecture functions
  • Project management skills and experience in delivering medium and large-scale projects including management of costs and resources
  • Track record of performing goal setting, performance evaluation, and development plans for direct reports
  • Experience with the implementation and support of Network Management tools
  • Ability to evaluate new technologies and perform need assessments
  • Proven ability to effectively analyze advanced and complex problems, isolate fault domain, develop remediation plans and continually strive for process and service improvement 


Required Education


BS or BBA in Computer Science or commensurate Industry experience Required
MBA Preferred
