As part of the Wyong Warehouse Operational Team for FMC the role manages,

 

This position is accountable for ensuring that warehousing and distribution facilities are operating in an efficient and safe manner meeting all relevant company and legislative standards while maintaining the required level of customer service for FMC and its partners. This position is a developmental role and will be heavily involved in the establishment and coordination of national and international distribution from the Wyong site.

 

Maintain accurate SAP transactions and master data for warehouse views, to coordinate and maintain SAP systems for FMC Coordinate training and development programs for staff in using SAP and EWM systems.

 

To maintain inventory accuracy at 98% level or better. To ensure and maintain compliance with dangerous goods and safety regulations also customer service and site policies.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Effectively coordinate, oversee, and manage the team to unload, Inspect, document and
  • Receipt all Incoming materials so that they are transferred promptly and safely to locations in the warehouse for FMC and entered via SAP system.
  • Effectively coordinate, oversee, and manage the team to complete movements from the Production areas to locations in the warehouse for FMC.
  • Ensure that all deliveries and Dispatches are entered and managed into the EWM SAP system.
  • Coordinate with team to ensure that all goods are inspected, checked, and have the necessary dangerous goods and GHS documentation and Labelling and are aligned with scheduled transportation collections and dispatches to meet FMC customers strict timeframes
  • Support and control the processes to conduct cycle counts of all locations on site and stock-takes of warehouse inventory, with a target goal 98% inventory accuracy. This must meet all SOX compliances.
  • To effectively coordinate, communicate and problem solve with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure the highest level of customer service is provided.
  • Support and control all site entry and egress of Contractors, Carriers, and visitors to the Wyong via the Warehouse area
  • Support Warehouse lead on reviewing all Warehouse site procedures and update with means of business and changes to the procedures.
  • To oversee and support the team in all warehouse and site functions to meet requirements and standards in WHS.
  • To assist and co-ordinate with the Production, Logistics stakeholders with commercial, storage and logistical matters.
  • Manage and maintain Warehouse Vendor accounts for the Plant and Invoicing and reconciliations.

 

Requirements: 

  • Preferable Diploma or Degree qualified in a relevant discipline 
  • Min 5 years of demonstrated warehouse and logistics experience
  • Must have previous knwoledge & skills to manage and run SAP (preferably SAP 4 Han)
  • Systems and Extended Warehouse Management (EWM)
  • Strong problem-solving skill, be able to identify and recommend alternative solutions to deliver the outcome
  • Strong networking skills 
  • Proactive & transparent communication style 
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise multiple tasks. 
  • Strong skill in MS. Excel &  Ms. Word to maintain reports. 

 

Key success factors:

To be a Safety leader and enhance safety cultures by establishing safety campaigns with employee learning and involvement. Zero recordable, PS 1 & 2 incidents. Maintain the Near Miss reporting at 1 per month for each site. To meet and achieve Goals and Objectives as part of the success factors. Ensure all Incoming materials are identified, booked into SAP and are available to meet production demands, Ensure Finish goods are dispatched within the required time. All material handling and vehicle transportation complies with legislative and site policy ensuring site and public safety, all warehouse activities are carried out in an efficient and safe manner. Inventory is consistently monitored and reconciled in FMC and the FMC SAP system therefore minimal write-offs/stock adjustments occur. Maintain high level of customer service with internal and external customers.
